For individual tuitions please email me at tessa@damayoga.com or phone 01179023766 for more information. These personal lessons are useful for those that already attend yoga classes and would like some personal attention or for those new to yoga. It is also possible for a group of friends to host a lesson in their own home.

Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to the yoga class and wear loose, comfortable clothing. Good quality yoga mats are available for sale at £15 each, please ask me to order one.

It is advisable not to eat for 2 hours before a class. A banana would be OK 30 minutes before if you really can't wait!

Yoga for pregnancy

Yoga can help relieve the aches and discomforts of pregnancy.  It will also allow you time to connect with your unborn child and celebrate this special time. It provides much needed relaxation in this period of change and can prepare you mentally and physically for labour.

Whether this is your first child or not, whether you are working or not, yoga for pregnancy can be a fantastic way of nurturing both your baby and yourself!

I recommend that you attend my specialised pregnancy class. It is suitable from 16 weeks onwards.  Before this time, it is advisable to rest.  You could attend a meditation and relaxation class, but please avoid postures at this sensitive time.   Pregnancy classes are suitable from 16 weeks to term.  Individual tuition is another option.

For those training to be BWY teachers, I am qualified to observe Recorded Teaching Practices (RTPs).  Please get in touch to discuss arrangements.
